Darwen Celebrated the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in style; in our schools; in our streets and on our moors, the party continued over the weekend with Darwen Live; many went to bed on Sunday evening with a bit of Hot Chocolate.

After all the misery of the last few years, this celebration proved the nation’s affection for our Monarch and provided the uplift and unity that is synonymous with the true British spirit.
