MINUTES OF THE AGM HELD IN DARWEN TOWN HALL ON MAY 23rd, 2023
Present: Couns. East, Connor, Davies, P. Browne, D. Smith, J. Hamer, N.
Slater, S. Brookfield and B. Taylor, plus two members of the public.

2. Minutes of the last meeting
These were agreed.
3. Confirmation of officers:
Coun S Brookfield was elected as Mayor and Coun. K Connor as deputy leader.
A vote of thanks was given to the outgoing Mayor, Coun L Salton and deputy
leader, Coun. J. East. It was agreed the committees stay the same, with the
exception that Coun Connor replaces former Coun Walker on the relevant
committees and the deputy leader represent the council on Darwen Deal.
4. Finance
The balance sheet and annual return were accepted and the annual return
signed
5. Adoption of rules
These were accepted..
